Harvard Medical School Executive Education Associate Dean Stanley Y. Shaw, MD, Ph.D. He builds and oversees a growing portfolio of programs for firms and senior executives from varied healthcare industries, from small biotechs to Fortune 100 companies. Dr. Shaw is the Chief Scientific Officer for One Brave Idea at Brigham and Women's Hospital, an American Heart Association, Verily, and Astra Zeneca-funded program to study and cure early coronary heart disease. He studies how digital health, bioinformatics, the gut microbiome, and patient-reported data might improve illness diagnosis. He has created a program called 'Understanding the AI Development Pipeline in Health Care'.

He co-founded the Center for Assessment Technology and Continuous Health (CATCH) at Boston General Hospital and developed one of the first ResearchKit iPhone apps with Apple. Dr. Shaw earned his MD, Ph.D. (in Biophysics), and BS in Chemistry & Physics from Harvard College. Massachusetts General Hospital trained him in internal medicine and cardiology.
