Peter Norvig

In the field of AI, Norvig is somewhat of a celebrity. Norvig is undoubtedly the most significant individual when it comes to the potential course that implementable AI technology might take in terms of permeating society as Google's Director of Research. Norvig has worked as a professor and academic at a number of institutions for many years. He is now a councilor and an AAAI Fellow at the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence. He has written more than 50 papers on artificial intelligence, computer science, information retrieval, and natural language processing.
