Neil Lawrence

The Department of Computer Science and Technology at the University of Cambridge employs researcher Neil Lawrence. He started working at the college in September 2019 as the first DeepMind professor of machine learning. In essence, this means that DeepMind is paying him to do AI research at the college.
Lawrence served as Amazon Cambridge's director of machine learning before accepting the post.
