John Danaher

At NUI Galway, he is a Senior Professor. His areas of interest in the study include new technologies, the future of human civilization, and legal philosophy. He is the co-editor of Robot Sex: Social and Ethical Issues and the author of Automation and Utopia: Human Flourishing in a World Without Work (Harvard University Press, 2019). (MIT Press 2017). He has written several articles on a variety of subjects, such as the dangers of advanced artificial intelligence, the ethics of social robots, the purpose of life and the nature of employment in the future, and the morality of human improvement.
