Entrepreneur, developer, business strategist, and educator is Jeremy Howard. As the creator of fast.ai and a Distinguished Research Scientist at the University of San Francisco, he is highly recognized. Prior to that, he founded and served as CEO of Enlitic, the first business to use deep learning in the medical industry. Its success made it to MIT Tech Review's world's top 50 brightest firms for two years in a row.

When Jeremy first began his career, he worked as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company. He stayed there for eight years before starting his own business. In 1999, he joined the founding team of FastMail, which Opera Software later purchased. FastMail was the first of its sort to let users combine their well-known desktop clients, and it was quite popular in Australia. Eventually, he became President and Chief Scientist of the online data science community Kaggle. He and Rachael Thomas co-founded the research center fast.ai, a firm that aims to make Deep Learning more widely available.

Enlitic, a firm founded by Howard, was a pioneer in the field of medicine. It used machine learning to increase process accuracy and speed when making a medical diagnosis. Howard thinks that the deep learning algorithms employed by Enlitic might be as effective as or even better than people in diagnosing diseases and illnesses. Jeremy frequently makes appearances on Australian news programs and has written a ton of courses on web development and data science.
