Ilya Sutskever

Ilya Sutskever helped create OpenAI, a non-profit organization dedicated to AI research. He founded AlexNet, a CNN (Convolutional Neural Network), together with Geoffrey Hinton, and Alex Krizhevsky, among other key developments in the deep learning area. 

Sutskever has also worked as a research scientist at Google Brain, where he developed sequence-to-sequence learning algorithms alongside Quoc Le and Oriol Vinyals.

Sutskever has had a substantial influence on contemporary disciplines, the ChatGPT as it exists now, and the development of all AI-based products powered by Openai as a researcher and leader.
