Andreas Muller

After working at Columbia, NYU, and Amazon, currently Andreas is a Microsoft Principal Researcher. He is the author of the O'Reilly book "Introduction to machine learning with Python," which outlines a practical method for using Python and Scikit-learn to do machine learning. He has been co-maintaining the Scikit-learn machine-learning library for a number of years. He is one of its primary developers. Andreas teaches Software Carpentry as well. To minimize barriers to entry for machine learning applications, he develops open tools. Moreover, Andreas supports free access to top-notch machine learning algorithms and encourages the practice of reproducible science.
